Welcome

– Counselling in Hove, East Sussex or Online –

I offer one-to-one psychotherapeutic counselling and therapy. I can meet you for counselling in Hove, East Sussex or online. I’m a fully qualified and experienced therapist and counsellor, and first and foremost a human being. I’ve got experience helping people with a wide range of difficulties (we’re all unique after all). I specialise in helping people navigate anxiety as it’s a feeling I’ve come to know well. Feel free to have a look around my website to get a sense of what it’d be like to work with me, and reach out if you have any questions.

About Me

I’m a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I’ve been through my own struggles with anxiety and confidence in the past, and am so grateful for the counsellors who helped me through those difficult times. I found the experience so life-affirming that in 2015 I started my own journey to becoming a therapist, graduating in 2018 from the University of Brighton. I love this profession, which is now a part of who I am, not just something I do for work. Read more here.

It took courage for me to seek help, and I’m so glad I did. If you’re struggling, you don’t have to suffer in silence. I offer a safe and confidential space, either in Hove or via video online. We can explore whatever you’re going through together – and find some hope, some spaciousness, some joy, and help you feel like yourself.

Face-to-face or Online Counselling?

Face-to-face counselling means travelling to the Wilbury Clinic, which is where I practice in Hove (East Sussex).

Meeting in person has a different quality than meeting online, as we occupy the same physical space. It isn’t reliant on Wi-Fi connections and can be more private than seeing me from your own home via video. Travelling here can also give you a chance to reflect before and afterwards.

Personally I love that the rooms at the Wilbury Clinic are so close to the seafront. It’s also walkable from Hove train station and has easy access to parking.

Online counselling is also easy and safe. I can meet you for online therapy if you’re based in Worthing, Brighton, Chichester, Eastbourne… or anywhere in the UK or Ireland. You can log on using a laptop, PC, phone or tablet, wherever you are. It’s very convenient and you can meet me in your own comfortable space. It can be easier for people with mobility issues or difficulty travelling.

Both online and in-person therapy are equally effective, and each has its benefits, so really it’s up to you.
