Welcome
– Counselling in Hove, Worthing or Online –
I offer one to one psychotherapeutic counselling. I can meet you for counselling in Hove, Worthing or online. While I’m fully trained and have experience as a counsellor, I’m first and foremost a human being. I’ve got experience helping people with a wide range of difficulties (we’re all unique after all), and specialise in anxiety as it’s a feeling I’ve come to know well. Feel free to have a look around my website to get a sense of what it’d be like to work with me, and reach out if you have any questions.
Some examples of areas I can help with:
Physical feelings of anxiety or panic attacks
Low mood, sadness or depression
Relationship difficulties
Health anxiety, or social anxiety
Difficult life transitions (career, parenthood etc)
Bereavement or loss
Self-esteem, low confidence, decision making
Anger
Lack of direction or meaning in life
Addiction (alcohol/drugs, food, gambling etc)
About me
I’m a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I can help support you and find a way through whatever you’re struggling with. I’ll always follow your lead, and I’ll be honest with you – with your best interests at heart. As everyone has different needs, my work with you will be unique. I work with clients over 18 of any gender, race, sexual orientation or identity.
I specialise in helping people navigate anxiety – from general worry, through to health or social anxiety, worries about the future or relationships. However I’ve got experience working with all sorts of issues, so feel free to get in touch no matter what you are experiencing. Read more here.
Online Counselling or Face-to-Face?
Online counselling is easy and safe. Whether you want counselling in Worthing, Brighton, Chichester, Eastbourne… or anywhere in the UK or Ireland. You can log on using a laptop, PC, phone or tablet, wherever you are. It’s very convenient and you can meet me in your own comfortable space. It can be easier for people with mobility issues or difficulty travelling.
Face-to-face counselling obviously means travelling to the rooms I use in Hove or Worthing, but offers more space, and potentially fewer distractions. It isn’t reliant on Wi-Fi connections and can be more private than seeing me from your own home via video. Travelling here can also give you a chance to reflect before and afterwards. Both online and in-person are equally effective, and each has its benefits, so really it’s up to you.
